RescueME R-Lab Policy Examples

This report describes the state-of-the-art tools concerning Spatial Planning (SP), Cultural Heritage Management (CHM), Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) for the RescueME R-Labscapes (R-Labs, the RescueME case studies).  

Existing planning tools, strategies, and any relevant policy instruments in these four main fields have been mapped for all the countries part of the RescueME project, moving from the national to the local governance level. Through a well-structured policy questionnaire, general data and specific information have been gathered per each planning instrument investigated, looking at its overall aims and objectives, authorities and stakeholders involved for its development and implementation, as well as its adaptive capacity and the level of inclusion of provisions for CHM, CCA and DRR.
