RescueME Transformative Pathway Monitoring

The resource provides the methodological tools for developing a dynamic monitoring system for the Transformative Pathways, based on the Dynamic Adaptive Policy Pathways (DAPP) framework. This approach is useful for guiding decisions in contexts of uncertainty, with a range of possible futures.

Monitoring within a DAPP framework is built around several key components: indicators, signals, triggers, and adaptation thresholds. It works like a navigation dashboard: appropriately defined indicators show the current status and progress of the resilience strategy, signals provide early warnings, and triggers indicate when action is needed to avoid failure (adaptation thresholds).
